The HyDip device is provided with mounting brackets at the rear of the panel, to allow mounting inside an IP-rated enclosure.

You must follow these electrical warnings

For safe operation of the HyDip device its casing must be properly grounded. Please follow these guidelines to ensure safe connections:

• Follow all local codes for safety requirements. Pay particular attention to electrical codes.
• The HyDip should be installed by a certified electrician
• Ensure there is a good electrical connection between the HyDip enclosure earth terminal and back panel chassis
• Use shielded cabling for all communication cables, ensuring the cable shielding is properly grounded.

Mounting the solar panel

For maximum effectiveness, orient the solar panel to provide the maximum exposure to sunlight throughout the day.

Follow these instructions to care for your solar panel:

• Ensure the rear side of the panel is adequately ventilated.
• Disconnect and allow the glass panel to cool before cleaning. Applying cold fluids to the panel may cause the panel to crack. Use water to clean the panel.
• Do not disassemble the solar panel
• Do not short the solar panel terminals
